The purpose of the Brazilian Journal of Kinanthropometry and Human Performance is to disseminate original scientific research that contributes to the advancement of human movement sciences with emphasis on kinanthropometry in both its morphological and functional aspects as well as the conditioning factors of physical performance.
Index H if calculated by the "Publish or Perish" the "Rev Bras Cineantropom Desempenho Hum" attained H 34 and Impact Fator SciELO 0,28 (Query date: 2015-06-02). It is currently indexed in some of the most influential international data bases such as ISI Web of Knowledge (Thomson Reuters), Elsevier (SCOPUS), SCImago H 11, Google Scholar H 15, ISI Web of Knowledge: Newly Added (2013).
